Quick Shot Big Shot Gun Fire Issues

If your Quick Shot or Big Shot guns are not firing Follow the steps Below

  1. Go into the Main menu, Go to I/O Menu and then Gun adjustments. Highlight a gun selection ( only one in a Quick Shot).
  2. When you see a Dot in the upper Left corner Pull the Trigger of the gun being adjusted. You should see the Dot move to the upper right corner of the screen and the Gun should recoil.
  3. If the gun did not recoil and the dot did not move you have an issue with the game not seeing the trigger pull from the Gun. Check the gun harness (continuity) on the White and Yellow wires going from the Camera Board to the triggers Micro switch. The micro switch should be normally open and when you pull the trigger it will be a closed switch. If the harness is bad you can swap out the gun harness or if the Micro switch is bad then you can swap the switch.
  4. If the Dot does move from the upper left corner to the upper right corner then we know the game is seeing the trigger pull. If the gun does not recoil at this point please check to make sure the system is pressurized with the gauge on the air water Seperator. If it is pressurized, then the issue could be the 12 volt gun fire solenoid.
  5. If the Gun recoils and the Dot moves from the left corner of the screen to the right corner of the screen please continue through the calibration process of the gun and after shooting all 4 corner dots shoot the gun into\ the center of the screen. If the Dot appears where you are aiming the guns are calibrated and the issue is fixed. If a Dot does not appear where you are shooting then we need to check the output of the ir laser.
  6. In game mode you can shoot the gun and if you have a IR camera you can look to see if the laser is firing. If you do not have one you can use your Cell phones camera in Selfie mode ( it normally will not have an IR filter). If you fire the gun in game mode while pointed at your cell phone’s camera and you do not see the IR laser fire, then the issue is going to be either a bad gun harness on the red and black wires leading from the camera board or the ir laser inside the gun, or a bad ir laser. Check to see if you have continuity in the gun harness and if you do then the issue is most likely a bad IR gun Laser. If you have a broken Gun harness replace the harness.
