Replacing and Adjusting Quick Shot Camera Board
When replacing a Quick Shot Camera Board (P/N QS-01-003) you will most likely need to adjust the new board to work with your game. Follow the steps below to properly adjust your new camera board.
- Remove the tape and the filter from the camera lens, then turn the red dip switch to the “ON” position. This will turn on the small Camera display below the camera board.
- The whole game monitor should be visible in the camera display. If the red box is not in line with the game monitor displayed on the screen then you will need to loosen the 4 screws that hold the camera’s metal mount to the player console. You will see once you have loosened the 4 screws you will be able to move the mount forward, backwards and to the left and right. Please see pictures below for reference. Remember you are looking at a reverse image so moving the camera to the left with move the image on the camera display to the right, etc.
- Once you have the Camera set properly left and right you can tighten the bolts holding the mount to the console
- Press the +/- buttons on the Camera board to adjust the angle of the picture on the display board. You are looking for a strait forward angle ( what you would see when playing from the players position). When the whole monitor is inside the red frame of the display board (as the pictures below) you are ready to go on to the next step. If you can not adjust the camera angle enough with the buttons, the camera mount has a mechanical adjustment for up and down on the camera mount.
- Re-install the filter onto the camera lens and switch back the red dip switch to the “off” position.
- Do into the main menu, go to I/O test and recalibrate the Gun. Once you enter into calibration test you will see the gun firing, once calibration is done and you have saved and exited the menu you should be finished with your installation of the Camera board.
